SPIRITUAL PROSPERITY

Scripture Reading - Galatians 5:22-25

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. KJV

In the world today many nations and economies are hoping for a financial recovery to make them happy. As Christians, we also are looking forward to being prosperous throughout the year. However as a Believer in the Kingdom of God we know our prosperity is more than money but rather a prosperous spirit that attracts all good blessings from our Heavenly Father. Peace, wisdom, favor, foresight, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, are just a few of the blessings in the Kingdom of God that are given to us. Although the Lord has an innumerable amount of blessings we will target a few at the top. These verses explain to us the primary ingredients to walk in the spirit. If you can master walking in the spirit, or we could say in the Power of God’s Holy Spirit, you will prosper greatly this year and in the years to come. So we beseech you (beg you) to strive to develop your fruit of love by being more joyful, more peaceful, more longsuffering, more gentle, and displaying more goodness. Purpose to use your faith to believe you received more of these godly virtues to develop in the character and nature of God. Adjust your attitude to be meeker and show forth more temperance (self control) by keeping your tongue more quiet and any frustration or offense to a bare minimum. As you are obeying (by doing) this word from God you are walking in the Spirit and crucifying the flesh which brings forth God’s Prosperity in your life. Remember that financial prosperity may fluctuate because it is dependent on the market conditions but Godly Prosperity in Christ Jesus shall remain constant because it is dependent upon the Kingdom of God. The Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever therefore we can have spiritual prosperity all the days of our life if we purpose to prosper in Christ Jesus. Amen!
